The Role
You can be part of a leading, client-committed, global Asset Manager, making an impact on individuals, communities, and the world. Today, markets still face a whole new set of pressures – but also a whole lot of opportunity too. Opportunity to innovate differently. Opportunity to invest responsibly. And opportunity to make change. This is needed more than ever as we currently experience high interest rates, a once-in-a-lifetime health crisis, a shift in global demographics – and politics – as well as advances in digitalization and economies moving towards a more sustainable future.
While there is always uncertainty in markets, one thing remains clear: there is always a new situation that requires the right investment answers. We call it the new now.
About the program:
The 2-year program consists of a technical training period and is followed by four six-month rotations within your assigned division, where you will have the opportunity to implement your technical training in a practical setting with expert guidance.
You will:
- Gain a deep insight into how the Corporate Functions support and enable the success of the firm
- Be part of the Global program community
- Collaborate with a wide range of colleagues across different departments
- Challenge the norm and contribute your own ideas and improvement suggestions
- Solve challenges together with your team
- Be empowered with accountability for your actions
About the Communications, Brand & CSR sub-division
Our worldwide team is the interface for external and internal communication with all relevant stakeholder groups. We deal with media relations, social media, political communications, corporate social responsibility, internal communications, multi-channel content, and brand management. You will be working in a sub-division with around 50 staff members. Our remit includes support for the strategy, key growth areas and financial goals, strengthening the ‘human face‘ and constantly renewing our brand strategy and narrative. We undertake constantly active and reactive media work, contribute to social media, owned web content, and intranet, as well as public and regulatory affairs work.
As our graduate you will:
- Support the conceptualisation/execution of the engagement plan to increase visibility as a leading voice of the asset management industry with relevant public stakeholders, by monitoring media sources and carrying out research as required
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on relevant communication pieces, meetings, events and information
- Prepare first drafts of articles, press releases, emails, letters and briefings
- Cooperate with colleagues within the whole business to leverage various communications channels where appropriate
We’re looking for:
- Proactive, Agile, Curious and Entrepreneurial Graduates
- A team player with a curious mind and with excellent communication skills
- Innovators, creative thinkers, and collaborators
- Driven and committed graduates
- At least basic knowledge of media systems and social media
- Someone with interest in financial services, but no experience is required
- Advanced German language skills
