Join our global team to grow your expertise and develop innovative solutions that enable a prosperous and more sustainable society.We are looking for a R&D Engineer CCUS Solutions to join our CT_Technology & Innovation team in Switzerland to help us take Sulzer to the next level. In this role, you will support the development of CCUS solutions with internal and external stakeholders, including lab- to pilot-scale testing.Your main tasks and responsibilities:Manage and execute CCUS R&D projects according to the Stage & Gate process, with emphasis on CO2 capture and mineralization.Design, develop, and test CCUS process solutions; manage project schedules and costs; improve and maintain test facilities.Assess, address, and mitigate risks associated with technology development, including technical, compliance, safety, and financial risks.Document results, write reports, report MIS, maintain databases, and contribute to handbooks.Present results to stakeholders/customers, at conferences, and in journal articles.Collaborate with other T&I units and external industrial and academic partners, and contribute to grant application preparation.Develop and evaluate ideas for new technical solutions in the area of responsibility. Identify and assess patentable inventions and contribute to IP filing.
