Job Description – Working Student in Customer Services Reporting Region Europe

Description

Mercedes-Benz Cars Marketing & Sales (MS) encompasses the functions of Sales, After-Sales, Marketing, and Product Management for Mercedes-Benz Cars and is responsible for developing the global sales organization. Our goal is to successfully and sustainably shape the global sales of Mercedes-Benz Cars, achieve the highest customer satisfaction, and continuously expand the success of our brands.

The MS/ECD department in the Customer Service area is responsible for exciting topics in Customer Relationship Management, Data Analytics and Reporting, as well as Parts Trading for the European markets.

To manage the Customer Service business, we are currently implementing a Microsoft Power BI-based reporting and analysis tool in all European markets. The rollout process involves a variety of tasks and challenges related to ensuring operational data processes, designing user-appropriate reports and dashboards, and advising system users. For this, we are seeking support, which means we are looking for you.

These challenges await you:

  • You analyze and test data in the context of connecting new data sources to the reporting system and document the acceptance.
  • You monitor ongoing data processes, ensure their correct execution, and document any deviations.
  • You act as a point of contact for ongoing processes and actively engage with data owners and users.
  • You document requirements and developments in the backlog, coordinate these with involved service providers, and oversee their implementation.
  • You bring new impulses and innovative ideas.

Qualifications:

  • You are studying Business Administration, Business Analytics, Business Informatics, or a comparable field of study.
  • You have an interest in and some initial experience with Business Intelligence.
  • Ideally, you already have some experience in data analysis with an established visualization tool.
  • You already have knowledge of one or more of the following tools: PowerPoint, Excel, Confluence/Jira.
  • Your strengths include a structured way of working, analytical thinking, openness, as well as independent and goal-oriented work.
  • You can communicate fluently in both German and English.
