Senior RF Engineer (m/f/d)
Location: 80331, München
What to expect:
- Develop and implement advanced RF/mmWave packaging solutions, with a focus on optimizing performance across various frequency ranges and bandwidths.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison between research teams and product lines, leading efforts in feasibility studies, design, and the optimization of RF components and modules.
- Manage the entire design-to-production process, from initial concept development through to prototype evaluation, ensuring the integration of electrical, thermal, and mechanical factors in collaboration with relevant specialists.
- Explore emerging RF/mmWave technologies, identify packaging requirements, and propose innovative solutions to bridge technology gaps.
- Use your expertise to support global teams by defining and assessing systems, while also contributing to product and application engineering, including problem-solving in production processes.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with European research institutions and technology providers to facilitate the swift transfer of technology to products.
- Seek out new solutions, investigate technological advancements, and adapt innovations from other industries.
What you bring along:
- Master’s or Diploma degree in Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering, Physics, or a related field from a university or university of applied sciences.
- Over 5 years of experience working with RF/mmWave electronic devices.
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and integrating RF/mmWave components or modules.
- Proficiency with 3D electromagnetic simulation tools (CST, HFSS, or similar) and circuit design software (ADS, AWR, Altium, or equivalent).
- Open to collaborating and working within cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; proficiency in German is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural and interdisciplinary teams.
