Our client, a globally recognised leader in plastic packaging solutions, is seeking an experienced Global Engineering Project Manager to lead a team responsible for executing large-scale, complex projects across the globe. This is an opportunity to be part of a company that specialises in pharmaceutical and medical device industries, offering innovative solutions to meet specific industry needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Global Engineering Oversight: Lead and manage global engineering projects from conceptualisation to implementation. You will work closely with regional engineering teams to standardise and coordinate technical projects.
- Project Management: You will play a reliable role to ensure targets are met and completed on time and within budget.
- CAPEX Planning & Budgeting: Develop and control the global CAPEX plan and budget ensuring effective resource allocation across projects and maintain a strong focus on engineering, automation and infrastructure improvements.
- Team Leadership: Directly manage a team of project engineers, guiding them through technical challenges and ensuring projects are delivered effectively.
- Continuous Improvement: Partner with international teams to enhance processes at manufacturing locations globally, while ensuring that site-specific, legal, and technical requirements are met.
Your Background:
- Engineering degree.
- Strong project management background with a track record of executing large, business-critical projects.
- Leadership experience managing a technical team.
- Comfortable managing projects on an international scale.
- Proficiency in German & English.
