Full-time Java Developer
Darmstadt / Frankfurt – Hybrid – 80K euros
MUST HAVE ATLEAST C1 GERMAN
We are looking for a full-time Java Developer to join one of our clients in Darmstadt. They are an independent Software House who specialize in Automation, Software Development, and Infrastructure Monitoring. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Java, Kubernetes, and Spring, as well as experience working in a distributed environment.
You will be working in an agile environment using up-to-date ways of working and technologies, in order to offer the best service for their end clients who tend to be large well-known entities. You will work across the entire cycle on conception and implementation of microservices, developing Java applications with Spring Boot and J2EE frameworks.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Java-based applications
- Work with other team members to design and implement new features
- Test and debug code
- Document code and procedures
- Work in a distributed environment
- Ideally work once a week in their office for team-building days
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 4+ years of experience in Java development, along with a modern framework like Spring Boot, JAX-RS
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker is a plus
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
- MUST HAVE ATLEAST C1 GERMAN – Native/fluent German is preferred
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
