Central Functions support the board as well as the business in achieving its strategic objectives. These are, for example, Information Technology, Human Resources, Logistics, Compliance, Finance and many more.
- Technical promotion of the Industrial Medical and Consumer portfolio at OEM customers
- Identify customer’s upcoming needs and product requirements and support product proposal and selection
- Specify reference applications for target markets and contribute to a holistic comprehension of system ecosystem at customer use cases
- Drive the design-in and design-win process, identify new opportunities, provide technical first level support on RFQ’s and during all technical discussions at customer
- Contribution to benchmarking of competitive products
- Work closely with sales team and the business units on the account development and expand the ams OSRAM product base at the customers
- Organize and conduct technical customer meetings and technical workshops in order to synergize across the whole portfolio on cross-selling opportunities
- Contribute to the definition of new products through the roadmap process in cooperation with the business units of ams OSRAM
- Successfully completed degree in physics, electrical engineering, optoelectronics or comparable
- At least 3 years of work experience in a field of electronics, semiconductor or opto-electronics in an international company
- Technical experience and proven track record for opto-electronics, LED technology and sensor integration in Industrial, Medical and Consumer markets
- Highly flexible, self-motivated and extroverted character, inspiring and motivating
- Excellent communication skills in oral and written in German and English
- Willing to work in international teams and travel across EMEA (~30%)
