Lead Cell Test Engineer (m/f/x)

Skeleton Technologies is seeking an experienced Lead Cell Test Engineer (m/f/x) to join our dynamic team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your insights will contribute directly to the success of the overall company!
Our ultimate goal with Skeleton is to build a net zero future, and our role is to make sure the world is aware of how we can help save energy, cut fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, and enable the energy transition.
Your tasks in the net zero journey:
- Provide guidance, mentorship and support to team members and inspire in line with company core values and promote cross-functional cooperation.
- Make sure individual competences and skills in the team are at a very high level, as needed for successful execution.
- Plan development cell-level tests, test assembly, disassembly and help conduct the tests if needed.
- Plan and develop required test equipment to fulfil future test needs.
- Support with root cause analysis on cell level.
- Think of innovative ways to build and improve test setups and fixtures.
- Analysis and visualisation of test results from internal and external tests.
- Guide external test partners.
- Interpretation of results based on basic electrochemical properties.
- Communication of test results to internal and external stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Dipl. or degree in chemical or physical direction, preferable electrical engineering.
- Min. 4 years of professional experience in electrical testing.
- Excellent written and verbal English and min. B2 German language skills.
- Experience in electrical (possibly even electrochemical) measurement methods and setups.
- Excellent knowledge of electrochemical energy storage devices.
- Hands-on mentality and with the wish to help in the lab when needed.
- Good knowledge of electrochemical measurement methods and the respective connections is a plus.
- Ability to write detailed reports and instructions about findings of your team.
- Confidence in the field of electrochemistry, especially energy storage.
- Ability to easily convey your line of thoughts & instructions.
- Excellent communication skills.
