Are you always up on the latest Instagram or TikTok trend and love creating content that stops the scroll and sparks engagement? Freda is looking for a Jr. Social Media manager to be part of our fast-growing team!
You’ll be a driving force behind our social presence, fostering connections with our audience and turning casual followers into passionate fans. If you’re someone who thrives both in front of and behind the camera, can craft compelling videos, snap stunning photos, and edit them to perfection – all iPhone at hand, then this is the role for you. You’ll have the chance to work on everything from developing engaging Instagram and TikTok content to creating scroll-stopping ads for our performance marketing campaigns.

Tasks
- Content Creation: Be the face and voice of Freda across Instagram and TikTok. Shoot, edit, and post daily content that embodies our bold, fun personality – always keeping it fresh, like our frozen delights. You’re confident both behind and in front of the camera
- Create for Ads: Work closely with the performance marketing team to develop scroll-stopping content for ads that convert – balancing creativity with data-driven strategies.
- Stay On Trend: Know what’s hot, what’s next, and how to make Freda a part of the conversation. You’ll be our go-to for all things viral and trendy.
- Community Engagement: Foster connections with our audience, sparking conversations, responding to comments, answering questions, and making people feel heard and excited about Freda.
- Collaborate: Work with our marketing and creative teams to bring fresh ideas and campaigns to life. You’ll also support our Influencer Specialist in keeping our social ecosystem growing.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track how your content performs, pivot when needed, and keep us in the know on what works and what doesn’t.
Requirements
- Experience creating video content for Instagram and TikTok (even if it’s just on your personal accounts) – ideally 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience, but if you’re a quick learner with a great portfolio, that works too.
- A deep understanding of social media trends – memes, challenges, music, and everything in between.
- A passion for community building – you’re approachable, responsive, and excited to engage with Freda’s fanbase.
- Experience or interest in creating content for ads (performance marketing is a plus!).
- A love for food – whether it’s pizza, pasta, or gelato, if it’s delicious, you’re into it!
- You speak the language: You speak our customers’ and team’s language. Therefore, fluency in German and English is a must.
