We are partnering with a key client of ours to secure an interim Chief Information Officer (CIO). You will perform the role on a temporary basis until the business model and other organisational changes have been determined.
About the role:
This is a great opportunity to lead a transformative change in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment. We are seeking an experienced CIO to oversee the delivery of key core system upgrades and drive the strategic direction of some critical information technology platforms.
This critical leadership role offers the opportunity to make an impact in a short space of time. You will be involved with shaping the future of this organisation’s information and digital services, ensuring efficient and effective systems that enhance customer service and operational excellence.
What you will contribute towards:
- Oversee the successful implementation of core system upgrades, ensuring they align with organisational objectives;
- Lead a multi-disciplinary team of around 30, including project delivery teams, corporate applications, service desk, Infrastructure fostering a culture of innovation, accountability and customer focus;
- Provide expert strategic advice to executives, colleagues and Council members;
- Although this role will be focused more on delivery as it is an interim role, you will also have the opportunity to contribute towards the development and maintenance of a five-year rolling strategy for hardware, software and application development;
- Manage information services, ensuring robust, resilient and scalable operations; and
- Build strong stakeholder relationships to support the delivery of strategic initiatives.
What you will bring:
- Proven experience leading large Information Services teams including project delivery teams within a complex IT environment;
- Demonstrated expertise in project management and delivering large-scale, enterprise-wide IT projects;
- Experience or knowledge working with TechnologyOne Financials as well as EAMS technology would be highly regarded;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and present complex ideas clearly.
