Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey with us? We’re looking for a Construction Site Supervisor in the northern suburbs region to join our dynamic and growing team across South East Queensland.
About the Role
As a Construction Site Supervisor, you’ll take charge of residential construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you’ll lead your sites with precision, while ensuring compliance, safety, and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Oversee all aspects of residential construction, ensuring projects meet milestones and quality benchmarks.
- Team Leadership: Inspire and manage tradespeople, allocate resources effectively, and maintain a strong, reliable trade base.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular QA checks and ensure compliance with NCC, AS, and QBCC standards and tolerances.
- Safety & Compliance: Champion workplace health and safety and ensure all sites meet environmental and WHS requirements.
- Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with customers, keeping them informed and satisfied throughout the construction journey.
What You Bring
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years supervising new home builds in the residential industry.
- Trade Background: Strong construction trade experience, preferably in carpentry, backed by hands-on expertise.
- Licenses: QBCC Site Supervising License, a valid Queensland White Card, and an unencumbered driver’s license.
- Skills: Strong communication (written and verbal) and organizational abilities. Confident, friendly, and professional attitude. Proficient IT skills, including familiarity with construction-specific software. Exceptional attention to detail. A team-player mindset.
- Knowledge: A solid understanding of Australian Building Codes, council requirements, and covenants.
