Your Crew
In Nyon, a team of three dynamic and engaged project managers expects you. Together, we ensure that a diverse and stellar portfolio of internal and external clients in the space and defence industry are satisfied with top-notch rotary joints and engineering services in the most efficient manner. Our comparable small site is currently undergoing a significant transformation and growing every day. Your Mission
As project manager of the assigned projects, products, and clients you are responsible for successfully and economically executing all assigned projects, products, and bids to the satisfaction of clients and internal management/target expectations:
- Leading all communication, financials, and risk mitigations with the assigned customer and products
- Engaging with key stakeholders towards setting clear project objectives and key products to be delivered in order to fulfill contract obligations
- Driving predictable and controlled project profitability and cash collection including on-time and on-quality delivery
- Continuously improving customer relations, project execution, and profitability to enable sustainable, growing long-term business
- Developing project documentation, agreeing on project plan baseline including scope, key activities, deliverables, resource requirements, milestones, and deadlines
- Ensuring coordination and leadership towards team members; that they are informed, have clear goals, and work collaboratively and in partnership with clients and other stakeholders to achieve planned outcomes
- Driving project execution, tracking delivery, monitoring and controlling change, owning change management, and proactively seeking and resolving blockers
- Conducting reviews to assess project outcomes and to identify and capture lessons learned to enable continuous improvement
- Managing project risks and opportunities, driving rigorous change management and leading negotiations both with internal stakeholders and direct customers
Your Story
- University degree in mechanical, materials, electrical engineering, or management of technologies
- Relevant experience in engineering and/or management of interdisciplinary engineering and production of demanding applications such as aerospace, medical, instruments, automotive, or military industries
- Customer relation, business-oriented, and assertive mindset
- Very structured, pragmatic working style and problem solving, strong and clear communicator and presenter
- Very strong integrity and team player, virtuosity, open-mindedness, creativity
- Strong with modern Office tools (Outlook, SharePoint, Teams) as well as MS Project
- Fluent in English. Basics in spoken French. Fluent in German would be a plus
Nice to have’s:
- Strong background in mechanics, electromechanics, product development, production and testing are an asset
- Military leadership experience is an asset
- Experience with rotary joints in higher assemblies
- PMP / IPMA2 certification will be considered a plus
