Job description:
The five-member interdisciplinary research group funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) aims to develop a classification matrix for ethical aspects in the design of defense technologies. The subject of the project, which is being carried out jointly with the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH), is the simulated use of such technologies with a particular focus on automated aircraft. You will work closely with engineering and scientific colleagues in the group to develop the conceptual basis necessary for the responsible development of such technologies. In the sense of “ethics by design”, you will help to ensure the integration of ethical criteria in the design process from the outset in a practice-oriented and technically informed manner.
