ISS is looking to hire a qualified
Upper School Language and Literature German Teacher
Full-time starting in August 2025. This position is initially for two years. Candidates will have at least a bachelor’s degree and qualified teacher certification and should:
- have three or more years’ experience teaching German Language and Literature across the IBMYP & IBDP
- be committed to a collaborative approach to working with colleagues
- have a strong commitment to the values of international education
- have up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working with, and the protection of children and young people
- display commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people
- value and respect the views and needs of children and young people
The following would be an advantage:
- Experience in using technology in the classroom
- Experience in curriculum development and documentation
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- model lifelong learning through the integration of technology in the classroom
- evidence the ability to inspire engagement in a differentiated classroom environment
- take on the role of homeroom teacher, if required.
