In the role of QA Engineer at heyData , you will be part of a team dedicated to ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. You will design and execute test plans, automate testing processes, and collaborate closely with developers to identify and resolve issues. Together with your team, you will take ownership of the quality assurance process across all products built by the engineering team, always striving to innovate and simplify.

Your mission

1. Ensure the quality and reliability of heyData’s software solutions through rigorous testing and validation.
2. Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand the product vision, technical requirements, and potential edge cases.
3. Design and execute test plans and test cases for manual and automated testing, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
4. Investigate and report bugs effectively, working closely with Engineering and Product team to resolve issues.
5. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to optimize testing strategies and processes.
6. Mentor and guide team members in QA best practices and methodologies.

What we are looking for?

1. Minimum of three years of experience or equivalent expertise in QA engineering, including manual and automated testing.
2. Proficiency in testing frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools.
3. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and QA methodologies, including Agile and CI/CD practices.
4. Experience in writing and maintaining automated test scripts in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
5. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar for API testing.
6. Understanding of version control systems like Git and workflows like Gitflow.
7. Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for testing containerized applications, or a desire to learn.
8. Excellent communication skills in English , with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
9. A detail-oriented mindset with a passion for identifying and resolving quality issues.
