A global leader in sports technology, renowned for creating cutting-edge solutions used in global sporting events like the Olympic Games, World Championships, and World Cups, is looking for a hands-on technical lead / Software Development Team Lead (C#.Net) to lead one of their development teams.
The company is deeply integrated into the world of sports, providing cutting-edge technology that helps enable some of the most prestigious sporting events in the world.
The role is for an experienced Software Development Team Leader to lead and guide a talented team of 6 developers in delivering state-of-the-art sports technology solutions.
In this exciting role, you will oversee the full software life-cycle, from concept and development to deployment and support, remaining hands-on whilst leading the team.
As a leader, you will drive the strategic direction of the team, steering it towards business objectives. From a tech point of view, you should have a wealth of experience in C#, .Net, AKS, Kubernetes, and ideally containerisation technologies.
Day to Day / Core Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the software development team to deliver world-class technology solutions.
- Oversee the complete life-cycle of software solutions, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and customers to understand requirements, define project goals, and ensure solutions meet expectations.
- Steer the team’s strategy in line with the company’s innovation and business objectives.
- Develop and implement best practices in software development, from architecture design to deployment.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Ideal Skills and Background:
- Proven experience in project and team management within software development environments.
- Strong technical expertise in C# .Net, Docker, AKS, Kubernetes, and containerisation technologies.
- Experience in Frontend Development using Vue.js or Angular is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in German and/or French is a plus.
