As a Project Manager in high-voltage electrical engineering, you’ll lead groundbreaking projects using state-of-the-art technology, making a meaningful impact on the global energy transition. Your role will support the modernization of power grids and contribute to a sustainable energy future.
Aufgaben
- As a member of our product development team, you will be leading the setup of testing facilities and overseeing field trials.
- Collaborate closely with suppliers of low-voltage converters and transformers, and coordinate with partners responsible for medium- and high-voltage networks.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring it meets the latest industry standards.
- Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring all technical and regulatory requirements are met.
Qualifikation
- Strong ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Several years of experience in planning and implementing instrumentation, control systems, energy infrastructure, and high-voltage lines, or significant experience as a project manager in power line construction, energy transmission, and distribution.
- Knowledge of high-voltage technology is a must.
Expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Power electronics or converter technology.
- Design, operation, or service of medium- or high-voltage networks.
- Application of converters in energy systems, such as integrating solar or wind energy into the grid.
Additional skills that will give you an edge:
- Proficiency with network simulation tools (e.g., POWER FACTORY).
- Experience in engineering or constructing low- and high-voltage switchgear systems.
- Familiarity with tools like EPLAN or SIMULINK.
- Strong communication skills, with a self-driven and results-focused approach.
- Willingness to travel internationally for project commissioning is a requirement.
