SAP Application Engineer – 6273

Our client is a leading Medical Technology company in Switzerland. It is headquartered in Central Switzerland and has a global network of production sites, subsidiaries and sales partners. For our client’s Technology division in the Corporate IT department , we are looking for a technically experienced SAP Application Engineer for a permanent role to be based in the Central Switzerland area.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Responsibility for central applications: Support the change management system Application Performance Monitoring (APM) and the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system 4PEP.
2. Holistic approach to PLM and change management: Ensure and improve data consistency across all systems, with a focus on change management.
3. Technical solution development: In cooperation with the specialist departments, analyze requirements, develop technical solutions and implement them.
4. Scaling systems: Making systems and processes scalable and future-proof.
5. Knowledge of the SAP environment: Contribute your own ideas and experience in SAP system landscape and identify optimizations.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Several years of experience as an Application Engineer in the SAP environment and adept at working with PLM systems (ideally 4PEP) and change management tools.
2. In-depth knowledge of customizing PLM and SAP systems and understand how to optimize processes in a data-driven manner.
3. Strong understanding of holistic, scalable processes and work independently to improve data consistency.
4. New technologies such as Fiori applications are exciting challenges for you and not an obstacle.
5. Fluency in both English & German.
