Description

Reporting to the CIO, the Head of Applications and Data will be responsible:

1. Leading and managing the Applications and Data team to ensure high-quality technology solutions
2. Mentoring and inspiring team members as well as promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
3. Building strong relationships with business stakeholders to align technology solutions with organisational goals
4. Managing a portfolio of third-party SaaS applications, ensuring they meet business needs, security, and integration requirements
5. Overseeing data management, reporting (Azure, Power BI), and system integrations, ensuring alignment with cybersecurity and compliance standards
6. Engaging with vendors, managing contracts, and maintaining collaborative relationships to drive optimal performance
7. Ensuring all applications and data systems comply with ISO 27001 standards and cybersecurity best practices
8. Staying up to date with emerging technologies, particularly in AI, and integrating them to enhance business processes

Profile

As the successful applicant you will ideally possess:

1. 10+ years of experience in IT application support, engineering, data management, and integrations development
2. Proven leadership experience in mentoring and coaching teams of similar size
3. Expertise in Salesforce, Microsoft platforms (Teams, SharePoint, Azure), and Power BI
4. Experience with vendor management, budgeting, and delivering business-aligned technology solutions
5. A deep understanding of business needs and the ability to think beyond technical aspects to deliver strategic solutions
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across the business
