With an understanding of and interest in infrastructure, software delivery processes, programming languages and frameworks (especially Java / Spring), different tools and architectures, strong hands-on experience, and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving, you can take the right steps at different clients and in possibly unfamiliar situations.
You do not have to be the expert at everything yourself – we have quite some of these – but you need to be able to take the right steps for any given situation.
Your daily tasks will include:
- Developing and implementing enterprise architecture strategies with a focus on Java technologies.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design scalable and sustainable solutions.
- Providing technical leadership and guidance on best practices for software development processes, infrastructure and application architecture, and preferably Java application development.
- Knowing a good set of tools and emerging technologies and using the right things for the job at hand.
- Collaborating and communicating with the customer along each step of the way.
- Aligning IT strategy with business goals, ensuring a high level of integration and standardization.
The following will make you succeed in this role:
- Ideally a bachelor\’s or master\’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Java, including frameworks like Spring and Hibernate.
- Proven track record in enterprise architecture, demonstrating a pragmatic and strategic mindset.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Fluency in both German and English.
