Job Description:

As Cabin Vendor Manager, the job holder (d/m/w) is part of a team responsible for the development of aircraft cabin upgrades. The job holder is responsible for the management and development of customization, definition, and qualification of aircraft cabin equipment (e.g., seats, galleys, lavatories).

• Responsible for the creation and delivery of technical specifications for aircraft cabin interiors.
• Coordinate all activities to ensure an agreed definition with all involved parties.
• Organize, prepare, or support international technical coordination meetings.
• Closely monitor, steer, and accept the external deliverables of the cabin suppliers.
• Contribute with on-time deliverables to the required European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) certification process.
• Support the physical integration into the aircraft (on-site and off-site).
• Cost estimation and cost controlling are also part of the tasks.
• Manage engineering subcontractors.

• Strong communication skills as well as a high degree of persuasiveness and assertiveness.
• Willingness to travel occasionally on business (to suppliers, worldwide).

Education / Studies:

• Aircraft construction: at least Bachelor’s degree or
• Aerospace: at least Bachelor’s degree or
• Industrial engineering: at least Bachelor’s degree.

Professional Experience:

• Engineering: at least 3 years.
• Construction: at least 3 years.
• Experience in cabin development/integration/definition: over 3 years would be desirable.

IT Skills:

• Catia V5: knowledge of detailed functions.
• PDMLink (product data management system/validation tool): knowledge of detailed functions.
• Taksy/Gesy/Tesy: knowledge of detailed functions.
• VPM: knowledge of detailed functions.
• VPM A350: knowledge of detailed functions.
• Google Workspace.

Language Skills:

• German: at least proficient.
• English: at least business fluent.
