As the Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the pub\’s daily operations, ensuring that both the front-of-house and back-of-house teams deliver top-quality service. You\’ll play a key role in maintaining a positive customer experience and will be the go-to person for staff and patrons during your shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day operations, ensuring the pub runs smoothly during your shift.
- Lead, motivate, and support the front-of-house team to deliver excellent customer service.
- Manage staff scheduling, breaks, and shift handovers.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues efficiently to maintain a high standard of service.
- Monitor cleanliness and ensure the venue meets health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Oversee bar and kitchen operations, ensuring quality control of food and beverages.
- Handle cash management, daily takings, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist in stock control, ordering, and inventory management.
