Job Description Summary
Plans and coordinates testing of various products to ensure proper performance and successful integration into customer vehicles. Projects are broad and varied, requiring inclusion of technical and business context and solving of non-routine problems. Provides written and verbal communication of testing status and results to internal teams and the customer. Assists in creating/developing new best practices/standards. Works with prototype and final manufacturing facilities to correlate test equipment and ensure assemblies are robust for performance. Works with customers to develop and optimize performance targets (vehicle and component-level).

- Umsetzung technischer und ökonomischer Optimierungen
- Hauptverantwortung für Termin, Technik, Kosten und Qualität der Produkte
- Mitarbeit bei der Absicherung der Serienplanung über Q-Tools wie FMEA, APQP sowie Einhaltung der internen Prozesse basierend auf dem Produktlebenszyklus
- Koordination aller am Projekt beteiligten Stellen wie Lieferanten, Kunden, Entwicklung, Logistik und Qualität
- Koordination der Muster- und Prüfplanung
- Kunden- und Lieferantenkontakt
- Developing new products together with customers
- Responsibility for product design from the customer inquiry to the start of series production
- Creation of product calculations
- Implementation of technical and economic optimizations
- Main responsibility for deadlines, technology, costs and product quality
- Collaboration in safeguarding series planning using Q tools such as FMEA, APQP and compliance with internal processes based on the product life cycle
- Coordination of all departments involved in the project, such as suppliers, customers, development, logistics and quality
- Coordination of sample and test planning
- Customer and supplier contact
Required Skills and Education
- Abgeschlossenes Studium (Bachelor/Master) in Maschinenbau oder Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen oder alternativ Weiterbildung zum Techniker mit Berufserfahrung
- Projekterfahrung und Prozess-Know-how von Vorteil, vorzugsweise im Bereich der Automobilindustrie
- Sicheres Auftreten, Kommunikationsstärke und Teamfähigkeit
- Gute Englischkenntnisse, weitere Fremdsprachen von Vorteil
- Bereitschaft und Freude an der Reisetätigkeit
- Degree (Bachelor/Master) in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering or alternatively further education as a technician with professional experience
- Project experience and process knowledge an advantage, preferably in the automotive industry
- Confident demeanor, strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Good knowledge of English, other languages an advantage
- Willingness and ability to travel
