Broadgate are partnered with a dynamic and expanding bank in the search for a Head Accounting. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of accounting expertise and a solid understanding of financial practices within the banking industry. This role offers the opportunity to directly contribute to strategic goals, handling all accounting matters of the company on a day-to-day basis and playing a key role in the development of the business.Location: Zurich, SwitzerlandSalary: c.CHF150kResponsibilities:Further develop processes in the Accounting division.Maintain and enhance the core banking system and subsystems with a focus on financial accounting functionalities.Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.Prepare the monthly reporting to the Executive Board and the Board of Directors.Maintain and further develop the Internal Control System over Financial Reporting.Assist the CFRO in the annual budgeting process.Assist the CFRO in Finance and Accounting projects.Responsible for liaising with FINMA and following Swiss Accounting Practices.Requirements:Professional experience of at least 5 years in Accounting or Controlling within a bank in Switzerland.Experience and strong knowledge of the local accounting standards.Fluent German and EnglishAn excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded organisation in an impactful role.For more information, please apply or get in touch. #J-18808-Ljbffr
