TQA/Test Engineer

As a Test Engineer and Team Quality Assurance (TQA) with a focus on automation,you are part of a Scrum team and are responsible for the high quality of thedevelopment work. You will check and monitor quality through manual andautomated tests. You attach particular importance to test automation. You alsoensure compliance with quality criteria from the requirement (definition of ready) tothe implementation (definition of done). You regularly exchange information with yourTQA colleagues from other teams on overarching technical and testing topics.We are Adcubum – a leading and constantly growing manufacturer of insurancesoftware in the health, accident and property insurance sectors and the market leaderin the health and accident insurance sector in Switzerland. We work across severallocations in Switzerland, Germany and Croatia.ResponsibilitiesEnsuring the quality of every product incrementConception and execution of manual and automated tests (with a focus onautomation) as well as API tests, e.g. with Postman / curlPlanning and implementation of release stabilisationsEvaluation and reporting of test results and test coverageFurther development of automated tests using a frameworkIntegration, assurance and monitoring of test runs within CI/CD with Jenkins, ideally development of CI/CD pipelinesOur requirementsExtensive practical experience in test automation and sound knowledge ofsoftware development (Java)Willingness to familiarise yourself more deeply with the complex insurancebusiness, especially in the area of NCB (No claims Bonus)Experience in test analysis and test execution as well as knowledge of testtoolsExperience in software testing of a distributed business application as well asAPI testing of services including BDDExperience with container technologies such as OpenShift, Docker andKubernetes is beneficialExperience with agile working methods, especially Scrum would be anadvantageInnovative, quick comprehension, ability to abstract, structured work, highquality awarenessVery good knowledge of German or native speaker and good knowledge ofEnglishWe offerA challenging job with exciting tasks, very good development opportunities andmodern employment conditions in a pleasant, dynamic environment.
