Senior Design Engineer

We’re not just building crucial products for the satellites, launchers and semiconductor industry, we’re helping to improve life on earth.We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer for development and design of composite and metallic structures for the Launcher product unit.Your Responsibilities:Assumption of design responsibility in various projectsCreating draft concepts and concept studies according to specificationsCreation of proposal bid and presentation documents and brief descriptions of the design proposalsLead and execute the detailed design and create fully elaborated assembly designs and interface drawingsCoordinate with other designers assigned to the projectIncorporate and develop advanced concepts, technologies and materials in collaboration with the technology group and manufacturing and J&T designCreation of the technical documentation (assembly plan, single parts and assembly drawings, parts lists and specifications, test samples) utilizing CAD, SAP and PC applicationsPerception of self-control in the context of inputs, especially when submitting mandatory parts model data filesCarrying out the administrative tasks related to release and change managementEvaluate proposed changes, and establish change requestsAssess NC’s and support the error handling processSupport of manufacturing, testing and PAQualifications/Requirements:B.S. in Engineering7+ Years of relevant industry experienceAnalysis skills on composite and metallic materials covering following domains: Structural (static, dynamic)Demonstrated success performing in a lead capacity on multiple schedule critical development projectsABAQUS or other non-linear solver beneficialStrong Matlab skillsHand calculation methodsAwareness for costs and scheduleProblem solving skillsGood communication and cooperationOrganizational skillsAre you ready for lift-off?Our core values – Passionate, Together, and Curious – transform challenges into opportunities.
