Join Roche, where every voice matters.The PositionRoche Diagnostics Sensor & Cartridge (S&C) Operations Rotkreuz consists of experts in the manufacture and testing of electrochemical electrodes, thick-film sensor cartridges, and calibration and cleaning solutions for blood gas analysis devices.Blood gas and electrolyte systems (BG&E) from Roche are groundbreaking diagnostic systems that deliver rapid and reliable results critical to patient welfare. They are used in intensive care units, emergency rooms, neonatal units, and operating rooms.This position is located in Rotkreuz, Switzerland, on-site.The OpportunityIn Fluid Pack Assembly, up to 80,000 cartridges with various buffer and calibration solutions are produced and tested annually on semi-automatic systems.As a Shift Leader in Reagent Operations, you will be responsible for the technical leadership and coordination of a shift group (15 operators in a 2-shift operation) in Fluid Pack Production. You will also monitor production processes, ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and act as a liaison between production and various interfaces.Responsibilities:Work on production systems in a 2-shift operation.Exercise technical leadership for production staff.Ensure information flow between shifts, team leads, operators, and interfaces such as planning, logistics, technical support, MSAT, R&D, and QA.Provide first-level support, maintenance, fault analysis, troubleshooting, documentation of errors, and coordination with technical support.Be responsible for GMP-compliant work and report anomalies and deviations.Conduct production-related SAP bookings.Create and review GMP-compliant batch documentation.Establish and maintain fine planning in consultation with relevant interfaces.Monitor productivity and production orders, initiating necessary measures.Identify personnel shortages, organize with other areas, and submit the corresponding requests to the team lead.Be responsible for training employees.Additional Responsibilities:Conduct/coordinate material management (inventory, disposal, bookings) and incoming goods inspections.Open and process deviation reports.Support, coordinate, and process projects and tests within Fluid Pack Assembly.Your Profile:Completed vocational training in a technical or commercial field, ideally with further training as a master or technician.Professional experience in a leadership position within production.Experience with GxP.Very good German language skills, both spoken and written; English skills are an advantage.High commitment and flexibility.Problem-solving mindset and organizational skills.Strong leadership and social skills.Team player.Strong communication skills, even across team and departmental boundaries.Strong quality awareness.Experience in medical diagnostics production and SAP knowledge are advantageous.Apply now and become part of our team to shape the future together!Who We AreAt Roche, more than 100,000 people across 100 countries are pushing back the frontiers of healthcare.
