In our Global Safety Services unit, we combine a wide range of expertise in occupational and plant safety, environmental management, health protection, product safety and hazard prevention. Together, we ensure compliance with all applicable legal regulations and voluntary commitments. RESPONSIBILITIES
Support our Material Management team in the area of Product Safety and ensure the high quality of our master data for the entire supply chain. With start-up spirit and vision, we establish new forms of cooperation across divisions and regions with production plants and central raw material purchasing. This position is initially limited to a contract of 2 years.
- You check and validate various supplier documents of raw materials, such as safety data sheets or packaging material descriptions, according to internal specifications and coordinate topic-related inquiries.
- In addition, you support the coordination between the team, the internal units, and the suppliers.
- You request missing documents from the supplier or the purchasing department.
- Moreover, you use your expertise as well as your experience to implement and optimize processes.
- Last but not least, you act as a capable contact person for our internal and external customers in the area of document management and materials management and thus be part of our global network.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Completed commercial or scientific training or studies, and ideally first professional experience in the area of document management.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes, materials management and purchasing processes and guidelines desirable.
- Proficient handling of Microsoft Office, experience with SAP modules is an advantage.
- Solution- and customer-oriented working style as well as enjoyment of working in international teams.
- Confident communication skills in German and English.
