Your opportunity:

The Cardano Foundation is searching for a passionate and driven Ecosystem Engagement Lead to play a crucial role in fostering a thriving and collaborative Cardano community. In this role, you will be the driving force behind community building, engagement, and support initiatives, empowering individuals to actively participate in shaping the future of the Cardano ecosystem. You will be having the following responsibilities:

Community Building and Engagement:

  1. Facilitate collaborative discussions through roundtable discussions, workshops, and open forums focused on governance, operator challenges, and community-driven initiatives.
  2. Empower diverse community members to contribute ideas and lead projects aligned with ecosystem goals.
  3. Create knowledge-sharing platforms for operators and stakeholders to exchange best practices and strategies.
  4. Foster a shared vision and sense of purpose within the community.

Support for Community Event Leaders:

  1. Actively engage with current and prospective meetup organizers to understand their needs.
  2. Provide resources and offer guidance beyond the Ambassador Program, including overseeing the ‘Community-Led Events’ workstream for the Cardano Summit.
  3. Establish communication channels for organizers to collaborate and share best practices.
  4. Promote community events through Cardano channels to increase visibility and attendance.
  5. Provide organizers with materials such as presentation templates, branding guidelines, and educational content.
  6. Recognize and reward the contributions of event organizers.

Your story:

  1. A minimum of two years of active participation in the Cardano community.
  2. Comprehensive knowledge of the Cardano platform, its technology, objectives, and community dynamics.
  3. Experience in Cardano meetups, smaller and bigger Community events.
  4. Proven experience in community management, ideally in technology or cryptocurrency-related fields.
  5. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships within a diverse and global community.
  6. Innovative thinking with the ability to develop new concepts that advance the Cardano ecosystem.
  7. Proficient in Google Sheets, including the use of Google Apps Script for automation and integrating various data sources, with the ability to efficiently manage, analyze, and visualize data to support community management tasks and decision-making.
  8. Strong data management, analysis, and visualization skills.
  9. Ability to create and execute comprehensive community engagement plans.
  10. Willingness to travel as needed and interact with team members across different time zones.
  11. Fluent in English (written and spoken). Additional language skills are a plus.

The Cardano Foundation is an independent, Swiss-based not-for-profit organization. The Foundation is tasked with advancing the public digital infrastructure Cardano and works to anchor it as a utility for financial and social systems, thus empowering the digital architects of the future.
