For Short Sea Lines Intra North Europe (SSL INEUR) in Hamburg we are recruiting an Inside Sales (m/f/d).
Your responsibilities include:
- Work with the Global Account team to provide LARA and customer service support
- Make quotations in LARA
- Follow up with various teams on missing routings, tariffs, haulages, approvals etc. within LARA
- Maintain customer satisfaction levels and ensure business growth and cross-selling opportunities are created
- Provide quality customer service skills via telephone, email, and face to face where requested
- Deliver customer specific KPI targets to keep high levels of customer satisfaction
- Maintain thorough knowledge of internal/external systems (including logistic and tender platforms) and services, as well as legislation & maritime regulations
- Ensure proactive inter-departmental communication takes place to ensure quality service is provided to key customers
- Support growing existing client-base through prospecting, relationship-building via regular and effective communication of new services and supporting corporate objectives
- Support the Global Account team in specific targeting of new intra-European export business for, and any further markets as directed by Trade
- Support the Global Account team to prospecting and targeting large account management opportunities for group business currently moving via overland trailer and/or short sea competitors and ensure greater visibility of the SSL INEUR brand amongst this market sector – increase conversion factor
- Develop a good rapport with trade, overseas agencies, local sales teams, suppliers and customers
- Attend off-site meetings internally and externally if required
- Support the review of process and procedures and implementation of improvement strategies
- Provide solutions to meet customers’ expectations in a professional manner, in case of customer complaints, and escalate if needed
- Complete all quotations within the necessary timeframes and report back wins and losses into the GA team
- Run regular reports on behalf of the GA team
You bring aboard:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Shipping, Economics or similar or Degree as Shipping Clerk
- Several years of relevant experience within Sales roles in shipping/logistics
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Fluent English in speaking and writing
- Good command of IT tools
