We’re pleased to invite applications for the position of Group Supply Chain Manager, a pivotal leadership role in our global Operations team.

Based in Hindmarsh, South Australia and reporting to the Executive General Manager, Operations, you’ll drive collaboration across Supply Chain delivering efficiency and maximising value.

Key focus areas will be ensuring the business is best positioned to maintain global logistics and supply performance, high-quality service levels, continuity of supply, and management of capacity planning to smooth production variance and maximise profit.

Your planning remit extends to Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Philippines and Vietnam.

Apart from technical proficiency, we’re looking for a contemporary leader, committed to people development. Your team is a mix of warehousing, logistics and planning professionals.

Your customer centric approach and drive to exceed customer expectations are paramount.

We work in a fast-paced environment, it’s demanding and challenging; we’re diverse and global; resilience, adaptability, agility and the ability to solve problems are critical.

As part of your specific responsibilities, you will:

  • Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy and identify ways to improve and optimise processes, establishing supply chain as a competitive advantage.
  • Lead Group SOP process and on-going development to ensure alignment and transparency of future business projections.
  • Oversee forecasting to optimise supply, protect business continuity and ensure the group can meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Recommend/develop tools to support the business for improved transparency of future demand opportunities.
  • Evaluate and determine appropriate finished goods inventory levels against plan, managing exceptions to meet or exceed finished goods inventory targets.
  • Play a central role leading the interface and collaboration between sales and operations.
  • Provide leadership to ensure a strong, positive culture with engagement across all levels of supply chain.
  • Develop future leaders.

About you

What you’ll need:

  • Proven experience and demonstrated capability in orchestrating a global supply chain process for a high-volume manufacturing organisation with a complex SKU portfolio.
  • Extensive experience working in the manufacturing industry.
  • A thorough understanding of ERP systems and forecasting technologies.
  • Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to developing people to drive future business success.
  • Strong problem-solving ability.
  • Exceptional cross-cultural awareness, emotional intelligence, and respect for diversity.
  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Flexibility to travel to overseas sites as required.
