Atlas recruitment are looking to speak with Building Services Managers both at a mid & senior level on behalf of several Tier 1 & 2 Commercial Builders in Melbourne.
Prior to Christmas, we have been engaged on several new requirements for upcoming Data Centres, Laboratories/Pharma and Health projects ranging from $80 – 600M in value.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Part of the project leadership team, responsible for junior staff & management of site operations.
- Oversight & management of all service packages including mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, fire, civil and storm water.
- Prepare and check all drawings for in ground services.
- Ensure compliance with all legislation and regulations of government, local council or other authority having jurisdiction. In particular, Workcover and OH&S.
- Assist in the procurement, supervision and administration of service trade packages.
- Liaise with the Project Management team & Estimating Department on services requirements as required during the procurement design stage.
To be considered you must:
- Minimum 5 years\‘ experience in a services / MEP management role
- Trade or tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Construction Management / Engineering.
- High level ability to read and interpret plans and drawings including the ability to foresee problems and to generate alternative solutions.
- Organized, efficient and hard working.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
