Senior Governance Manager, Company Secretary & Legal – Top ASX, Financial Services
Opportunity to join a Top ASX Listed, Financial Services organisation with a strong governance culture, best practices, systems and governance.
This newly created Governance role will report into the Group Company Secretary and Head of Governance within an established team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead regulatory change initiatives ensuring compliance with new legislation
- Ensure the Governance and Risk Management framework complies with ASIC, APRA, and ASX regulatory requirements
- Advise and monitor the board Charters, Delegations & Authorities policy as well as Ethics & Conduct policy
- Board and Committee regulatory reporting and participation in ongoing training and initiatives to ensure best class practices and a strong governance culture
Essential Requirements:
- Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance
- Tertiary qualifications in law or other business related disciplines
- 5+ years ASX listed company secretary and corporate governance experience
- Experience within the Financial Services Industry
- Demonstrated experience with corporate governance issues (legislation, policy and implementation)
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills
- Ability to work autonomously and use initiative to drive outcomes
