The Opportunity

As Corporate Director, you’ll lead a talented, multidisciplinary team to deliver excellence across critical areas, including HR, recruitment, media and communications, property and security, and secretariat support. The Role
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), this role is essential to the ongoing success and smooth operations of the department. It demands strategic oversight of shared services, expert risk management, and strong leadership across a variety of key areas.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality outcomes and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Oversee the establishment and enhancement of corporate functions, including corporate business strategies and HR systems.
- Manage and enhance the organisation’s brand and public image through strategic communications planning and media engagement.
- Lead the management of shared services arrangements, ensuring strong stakeholder relationships and service delivery.
- Prepare and oversee complex documentation, including Senate Estimates briefs, business cases, and corporate publications.
- Coordinate and deliver advice and recommendations to the Executive, influencing strategic decisions and organisational initiatives.
