What you\’re looking for
You\’re a Project Manager who’s been in the game long enough to realise what you want from a business and what you don’t. You know that the next company you work for needs to have the following:
- A linear management structure where you can talk to the managing director, construction manager, and estimating manager as equals. This is how they run their business as they treat everyone as equals.
- You want old-school values for your company and the customers you build for, knowing they won’t be budged on for anything. The product quality of the build is priority one above profit and deadlines.
- You like to laugh whilst working and don’t take yourself too seriously as we are all human and want quality of life and success. You\’re not too precious and want to smile while working and growing.
What they’re looking for
- Someone who knows construction from all sorts of backgrounds and hasn\’t specialised. This means you\’ve managed and learned a lot from several projects of different scopes.
- Someone who’s been a contract administrator for at least a few years and knows the intricacies of the position so that you can communicate easily with your CA, who you\’d have across all your projects.
- Someone who likes a variety of projects from all different sectors and can manage 2-3 at a time.
What you get in return
A top multi-award-winning family builder who prioritizes transparency, flexibility, and strong communication coupled with old-school values with a linear management structure.
They specialize in construction, fit-out, and refurbishment projects between $5M and $15M; almost half of the work comes from repeat clients.
As a turn-key Tier 3 builder covering every aspect of the construction landscape within our great state, customers know they are building with them, not for them. This is an important distinction.
Whether commercial, industrial, hospitality, residential, health care, age care, or even recreation, this company treats every project with the utmost care and attention.
With a broad range of delivery methods, including lump sum, design and construction, budgeting and feasibility, and head contracting, this company does it all efficiently and without constraint.
The doors of the managing director, construction manager, and estimating manager are always open, as they see you as an equal member of the team, not a direct report to be micromanaged or preyed upon with too much work and not enough time to do it.
What you get from me
- Someone who’s been consulting, recruiting, and headhunting construction talent for 13 years without ever deviating into any other sector.
- Someone who has won SA Recruiter of the Year three years consecutively for doing what I do best. Finding the right person for the right job. Simple.
- Someone who loves to chat about your past, present, and future career and learn how I can help you get the most out of your next position.
- Someone who will keep our conversation, dealings, and application quiet and confidential, so you always feel comfortable and safe working with me repeatedly.
So, if the above Project Manager role suits you and you’d like to go further, please apply, book a chat, or call me today.
