In this job you will:
We are seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations at our purpose-built site located in Truganina. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective management of all operational activities, driving performance, and maintaining high standards of service delivery for our valued customers. A dynamic role, where every day is different, your duties will include:
- Leading and managing the operations team, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Overseeing transport operations to ensure timely and accurate results.
- Analysis of operational performance, implementing strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Ensuring site compliance with all safety, security, and regulatory requirements and driving a culture of compliance and safety.
- Managing resources and logistics to optimise operational costs, improve service levels, and exceed customer expectations.
- Providing training, support, and development opportunities for team members including identification of talent and succession planning.
You have the following qualities & qualifications:
- 5+ years\‘ experience within Supply Chain/Logistics.
- Exceptional end-to-end knowledge of Supply Chain Operation within a 3PL environment.
- Excellent people management and influencing skills.
- Commercial acumen.
- Highly developed conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
