We – MT Aerospace – are part of the OHB Space and Technology Group. As a leading international aerospace company, we develop, manufacture and test essential components for launcher programs such as Ariane, the U.S. Space Launch System (SLS) as well as commercial launcher systems, the Airbus fleet, spacecrafts, satellites and defense applications. Thanks to globally unique manufacturing technologies, we create high-performance products made of metal and fiber composites, such as large load-bearing structures and cryotanks, lightweight structures and fuel as well as pressure tanks that combine maximum performance with minimum weight. Your Tasks

• You maintain our certification according to EN 9100, organize and supervise the certification audits and implement measures.
• You further develop the management system (management processes, manual, procedural instructions, work instructions).
• You plan, coordinate and follow up audits and carry them out.
• You train existing auditors (m/f/d) and authorize in-house production auditors (m/f/d) and auditors (m/f/d) with special authorization.

Additional function as Compliance/Safety Manager:

• You maintain our aviation approvals Part 21G and Part 145 including the maintenance of the POE (Part 21G) and MOE (Part 145) as well as the associated procedures and work instructions.
• You fulfill the requirements of the Compliance and Safety Management System (SMS) according to Part 21G and Part 145 and further develop the documentation with regard to SMS.
• You ensure the availability of safety training in accordance with Part 21G and Part 145.
• You advise on quality and safety issues within our organization.
• You identify hazards, assess risks and are responsible for risk management.

Your Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering or equivalent.
• Well-founded knowledge of EN 9100 and aviation regulations such as Part 21 and Part 145.
• Existing QM and auditor certificate.
• Experience in quality management, process management, auditing and dealing with certifiers, authorities and customers.
• Experience in aviation and/or aerospace projects as well as in the area of compliance or safety is an advantage.
• Good communication skills and ability to use moderation techniques to lead work teams.
• Good written and spoken English and good command of Microsoft Office applications.
