We are facing a technological upheaval in the Public Transport business unit, particularly with our key customers such as the Swiss Federal Railways. Our Public Transport division enables and supports a smooth migration of our existing solutions to new technologies. This is how we and you contribute to the mobility of the future and to improving the environmental balance of the transport sector (\“Green Deal\“).
We are strengthening our existing team, which is responsible for solution design and system design in the field of corporate railway communication, by adding a Solution Architect.
Key Tasks
- Gathering the requirements and wishes of internal and external customers and defining the technical solution
- Capturing and creating solution concepts
- Conducting feasibility studies and collaboration in cost estimation
- Defining the implementation schedule (Roadmap) with product management
- Close collaboration with product management and other stakeholders according to the SAFe Framework along the value chain
- Participating in the development and enhancement of products
- Supporting customer presentations, trade shows, and conferences
Key Qualifications
- Technical education (HTL or bachelor\’s/master\’s degree) in the field of (business) informatics, telecommunications or electrical engineering
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a business analyst or solution architect
- Knowhow in different areas (e.g. telecommunications, IT networks, VoIP, software development and testing)
- Industry experience in the railroad sector is an advantage
- Very good knowledge of English and good German knowledge
- Occasional business trips are interesting for you
- Communicative, proactive personality who likes to make decisions
