We are currently looking for
Porter and Facility Manager (m/f/d)
for AITHYRA, fulltime, 40 hours per week
You will take on a wide range of tasks in house logistics, be responsible for the reception, will accept parcels and deliveries, and also play a role in access control to the institute. In this role, you will provide in a timely and efficient manner the services required by the institute in terms of the management of space and access, infrastructure and furniture, maintenance of building and equipment. You will report to Anton Peisser, Head of Facility Management and Scientific Support.
The ideal candidate will have a high degree of proactivity and enjoy working and communicating with international researchers and students. Personally, you will also impress with your positive work attitude, your friendly manner and willingness to learn and improve to stay competitive in this branch of research and innovation.
Aufgaben
- Responsible for the reception, taking care of incoming and outgoing mailings and deliveries, and warehouse management
- Welcoming guests, being the first contact point to the outside world, playing an important role in access control to the institute
- Assisting with the preparation of events (seating, technical equipment, checkroom, etc.)
- Regular inspection rounds, also checking flex zones and seminar rooms
- Following up on equipment alarms, and error messages to reduce the risk of failure, damage and injuries
- Interface, coordination and contact person for external repair and maintenance companies
- Minor repairs and touch-up work, assistance and cooperation with the building owner
Profil
- Completed apprenticeship training (Lehrausbildung), craftsmanship skills
- Working experience as a porter or facility manager is an advantage
- Talent for multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Very good German skills (written and spoken)
- Very good English skills (written and spoken)
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (especially Outlook and Word)
- Completed training as a safety officer, first aider or fire protection officer is an advantage
