About Us
Eva Tilley Memorial Home enjoys a 60-year reputation in the community of ensuring our residents enjoy vibrant healthy ageing and active engagement with their communities while receiving the highest quality safe clinical care.
We are a single site not-for-profit residential aged care facility with 113 beds and employing approximately 60 FTE located in Balwyn North.
This is a pivotal role leading the vision and strategic direction of Eva Tilley Memorial Home. As Chief Executive Officer, you will oversee all aspects of the organisation\’s operations, driving excellence in service delivery and ensuring the highest standards of care for our valued residents.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced executive with clinical experience and financial acumen to join Eva Tilley Memorial Home as the CEO.
Reporting directly to the Board, you will be responsible for the operational leadership and management of our staff to meet Eva Tilley’s strategy while upholding our values daily.
With the aged care sector undergoing significant change, we are looking for a candidate that can effectively provide high-level strategic advice and analysis to the Board and ensure that Eva Tilley provides outstanding services to its residents while meeting all regulatory and compliance requirements.
The role requires extensive stakeholder engagement and a demonstrated ability to lead and manage a range of senior staff, individuals, and groups.

Key Selection Criteria
- Recent executive or senior management experience in residential aged care and full knowledge of the aged care legislative and regulatory environment.
- Track record of delivering the best possible outcomes for residents through excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to engage key stakeholders in the care of residents.
- Experience of leading highly successful teams in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial management and strategic planning within the aged care sector.
Other Information
Applicants must have the right to work in Australia and be eligible to work in Aged Care under the Aged Care Act 1997 (Cth).
Your appointment is contingent upon the satisfactory completion of your vaccination requirements (including COVID-19 and annual influenza vaccines as per Department of Health and Aged Care and Department of Health, Victoria) and all pre-employment and/or background checks required for the role in the residential aged care sector.
