The Senior Adviser, Quality and Assurance is a key role within VHBA\’s Project Management Office (PMO) and is responsible for:

1. Defining, managing and owning VHBA\’s Project Management Framework (PMF) continuous improvement processes
2. Driving performance and capability uplift across VHBA\’s diverse asset base and project portfolio
3. Identifying and sharing common project success factors
4. Developing and managing libraries of best practices through effective project knowledge capture
5. Gathering, validating, prioritising and sharing feedback and lessons learned between project teams and internal stakeholders
6. Supporting project capability and performance uplift and PMF adoption and compliance at all stages of the project lifecycle

Key Responsibilities:

• Writing briefs on highly complex issues that provide options for discussion and consideration and will contribute to the development of a set of final options for decision
• Keeping accurate and complete records of work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and the department\’s records
• Applying business plans and policies in PMO and providing advice to others on implementation issues

We are looking for:

• Experience working within a PMO, Quality Assurance or similar centralised project management roles
• Ability to confidently convey ideas and information in a clear and interesting way; understanding the target audience and the objectives of the communication
