Your tasks: You make the difference with us.
As a (Senior) Technical Lead (m/f/d) in our Bucharest office, you’ll join the Engineering Retail Platforms team, which designs processes and innovations for over 20,000 professional coffee machines in B2B operations. You and your colleagues will play a pivotal role in the development and operation of our CoffeeIQ (CIQ) platform – an intelligent portal for managing and optimizing B2B coffee machines.

- Technical Leadership : Own technical requirements and ensure high-quality implementation while mentoring the development team.
- Agile Collaboration : Shape the agile software development process and actively participate in backlog refinement and sprint planning.
- End-to-End Development : Work on a holistic technology stack, including Vue.js frontend, Node.js backend with NestJS, and MS SQL databases, alongside cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
- Architecture & Design : Continuously evaluate and evolve the CoffeeIQ platform’s architecture, ensuring it aligns with technical and business goals.
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Represent the development team in meetings with stakeholders, track progress, manage budgets, and align the product roadmap with the Business Product Owner.
- Code Excellence : Write clean, high-quality code, maintain best practices, and ensure application performance and security through TDD, pair programming, and code reviews.
- Innovation Time : Dedicate creative time to projects that interest you during each iteration.
- Cross-Team Collaboration : Learn and grow alongside experienced developers from other teams.
Required Qualifications:
- A degree in computer science, business informatics, or equivalent.
- 6+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Experience as a Technical Product Owner (m/f/d) with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and at least one other modern programming language (e.g., Java).
- Strong SQL skills and experience with large databases.
- Familiarity with architectural patterns (e.g., microservices, monoliths) and their implications.
- Experience with Git, DevOps, Terraform, container technologies, and CI/CD automation.
- A team player who thrives in agile environments (SCRUM/KANBAN).
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Nice to have:
- Experience with Vue.js, NestJS, and Node.js.
- Knowledge of using AWS or other hyperscalers for containerized Node.js applications.
- A qualification in software architecture (e.g., iSAQB) and expertise in software design patterns.
- Experience in stakeholder management and budget oversight.
