Your tasks

We are looking for a highly motivated team member to join our corporate real estate physical security team to play a decisive strategic role in protecting our employees, resources and know-how.

You will play a key role in the development and execution of physical security. The focus is on, among other aspects, risk minimization, ensuring business continuity and crisis management.

Strategic tasks

• You define the strategy for physical security.
• You coordinate the development and implementation of physical security procedures.
• You implement the global ASML standards for physical security.
• You prepare and execute tender for the physical security protection services.
• You make suggestions for the internal and external employee training and development program.

Management tasks

• You manage the outsourced security team.
• You manage, follow up and assess the physical security measures at operational/ tactical level.
• You implement and track physical security assessments for ASML in Berlin, define KPIs and follow up on them.
• You collaborate with the relevant subject matter experts on the development of the physical security control room and oversee the execution.
• You are the point of contact for the works council on all issues relating to physical security.
• You work closely with the Data Protection Officer and the Legal Team to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• You maintain relationships with law enforcement and other relevant authorities.

Your qualification

• You have a study graduation in (physical) security, a master’s qualification in protection and security (CCI: Chamber of Commerce and Industry) or a specialist qualification in protection and security (FSS (specialist for protection and security) / CCI).
• You have at least 5 years of professional experience in strategic and operational / tactical physical security in a German company.
• You have experience in a production, manufacturing or high-tech environment.
• You have proven experience in coordinating security service providers.
• You have extensive experience in project and contract management.
• You are fluent in written and spoken German and English.
