Your profile
- A university degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or many years of comparable work experience
- Several years of experience as a software tester or similar in software development role
- Strong Python skills, preferably in test automation
- Understanding of embedded systems and software
- Extensive knowledge of modern testing methods and tools
- First experience in automating software tests for UI applications ideally with Squish
- Fluent in English, a very good knowledge of the German language is an advantage

Your tasks
- Review embedded device requirements for clarity, understandability, completeness, testability, consistency, and feasibility
- Develop manual and automated test cases for embedded systems
- Define test conditions and expectations, and review test specifications to optimize software/hardware integration
- Create test plans & strategy, execute planned tests, and evaluate results with a focus on hardware/software interfaces
- Analyze test results and report software defects and bugs
- Compliance with ISO 13485 and IEC 62304 standards for in vitro diagnostic software
- Collaborate with software team for software improvement & enhancement
