Your tasks
At ellamind, we’re pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with customized Large Language Models (LLMs) for business process automation. As our founding engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing a scalable, reliable MLOps architecture that powers training and deployment of these models on-premise and across various cloud and on-premise environments. Your work will include:
- Building scalable data pipelines for synthetic data generation, evaluation, and filtering, ensuring our models are fed with high-quality data.
- Mastering the tech stack centered around Python and Docker, with a strong emphasis on server/database administration tools and multi-cloud as well as on-premise operations.
- Implementing resource-intensive computing jobs for AI model training and deployment, optimizing for efficiency and scalability.
- Contributing to other engineering and product-building tasks as needed, showcasing your full-stack capabilities.
Your profile
- You bring at least 3 years of experience, having demonstrated engineering excellence, ideally within a high-growth SaaS or startup environment.
- While expertise in AI/ML is not a prerequisite, your experience in deploying resource-intensive computing jobs is crucial.
- Proficiency in MLOps, ELT tools, and handling sensitive/protected data will set you apart.
- Fullstack skills and experience in setting up DevOps pipelines are an advantage.
- German and English language skills (at least B2) required.
- At least 2-3 days/week on-site presence in our Bremen office, with the prospect of moving to a hybrid/remote model in the long term.
