About the Position:
Serves as Chief Knowledge Officer (CKO) and Knowledge Management Officer (KMO) for USAFRICOM, developing and sustaining knowledge management, data stewardship, and data orchestration policies and processes. Manages command’s boards, bureaus, centers, cells, and working groups (B2C2WG) structure and supports Chief Data Officer in implementing Data Stewardship and Orchestration policies and programs.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) developing and implementing policies, procedures, and standards for command knowledge and data management; AND (2) leading a team of employees engaged in Knowledge Management, Data Stewardship, and Data Orchestration functions; AND (3) demonstrating ability to analyze and interpret data to inform strategic decision-making and drive organizational change; AND (4) collaborating with senior leadership to develop and implement command strategy and supporting plans, policies, and standards. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone–no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
