What you’ll do
- Lead the negotiation, drafting and review of procurement contracts for direct and indirect materials (including quality agreements), service agreements (including SLAs), CAPEX and maintenance contracts.
- Collaborate with technical teams, local procurement colleagues, as well as the legal and finance teams to ensure contracts meet business needs, compliance standards and risk management requirements.
- Stay abreast of regulatory developments that may impact the operations and contracts.
- Monitor and manage contract performance, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions and addressing any issues or disputes that arise.
- Provide training and guidance to procurement staff on contract management practices and category-specific aspects.
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, IT or a related field. Advanced studies in law, such as a Juris Doctor (JD) or a Master of Laws (LLM), especially with a concentration in contract law, commercial law or technology law, is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in contract management and global contracts reinforced by healthy assertiveness.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms in complex high-value contracts, underpinned by a solid foundation in legal analysis and risk management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities, and fluency in English.
- Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office suite, as well as knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP) is advantageous.
