Summary : We are looking for a Data Quality Manager (f/m/d) for the Master Data Management department in Ulm, Oberkochen, Taufkirchen or Immenstaad as soon as possible. The department is responsible for master data management across the Group, including data governance and data quality, as well as the introduction of a central MDG as part of the central S4 HANA program.
Your Tasks
- Understanding the business relevance of existing and new data requirements and developing concepts and initiatives to measure and improve data quality.
- Establishment of the Master Data Quality discipline including definition and coordination of the associated business processes.
- Elicitation of requirements for an IT tool environment, development and coordination of a corresponding strategy.
- Continuous improvement and further development of data quality in the company and early recognition of changing business and industry requirements.
- Development of data quality standards and their implementation in the global organization.
- Developing a strategy for recording data quality rules to measure data quality and efficiently carrying out regular and ad-hoc data quality measurements in local systems.
- Analyzing data, data structures and data quality in close coordination with the data owners with the aim of creating global data quality evaluations.
- Definition of effective measures to increase data quality.
- Analyzing and evaluating new approaches in the area of automation / AI.
- Collaboration in S4 HANA projects in the area of MDM, especially in the context of migration and data pre-cleansing.
Your Profile
- Degree in computer science, business informatics or similar.
- Many years of experience in project management and the implementation of optimization projects.
- Extensive experience in the field of data quality in an international company.
- Extensive experience with change management concepts and strategies, including communication, cultural change and design of performance measurement systems.
- Experience in initiating and implementing data cleansing projects.
- Knowledge and experience of data catalogs and tools for measuring and improving data quality.
- Knowledge of the (SAP) data model and procedures for managing data quality and data protection.
- Confident handling of MS Office as well as SQL and BI tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team and compromise, as well as assertiveness and initiative.
- Business fluent in German and English; additional language skills such as French advantageous.
