We are now looking for a Graduate, AI & Analytics (m/f/d) to join UPM Communication Papers Strategy & Development team. The position will start as of 01.06.2025 (later dates can be considered) and will be based in Helsinki, Finland or Augsburg, Germany or Wrocław, Poland.

What you will do
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with various departments to identify potential AI and analytics use cases that can drive business value.
- Design, develop, and implement AI models and analytical solutions to address identified business challenges.
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and trends.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Document processes, methodologies, and results, and present findings to stakeholders.
Who you are
- You are a recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- You have an understanding of AI concepts, machine learning algorithms, and data analytics techniques.
- You are proficient in programming languages and/or machine learning frameworks as well as in low-code development environments (e.g. Python, TensorFlow, Microsoft Power Platform).
- You have a basic understanding of optimization problems and visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI).
- You have excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills, with the ability to explain and simplify technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- You are able to work effectively in a virtual team environment and collaborate with colleagues from different disciplines.
- You are eager to learn new technologies and methodologies, and have a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
- You are fluent in spoken and written English; other languages are considered an advantage.
