Job Title: Lead Project Manager (Wind Energy)
Location: Germany (Home Office, on-site during construction when required)

About the Role:
We are working with a rapidly growing company in the renewable energy sector, specializing in wind energy projects across Germany. They have been in the market for over 30 years & are seeking a Lead Project Manager to oversee the realization of large-scale wind farm projects from initial planning through to commissioning. This is a senior, leadership-driven role that offers significant responsibility in leading the entire technical department of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage all phases of wind farm projects, including planning, tendering, execution, and handover to investors.
- Risk and Budget Management: Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Anticipate potential risks and develop solutions to mitigate them.
- Team Leadership: Manage and coordinate the project team, including contractors, engineers, and external specialists, ensuring smooth collaboration across all parties.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact with authorities, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with permits and regulatory requirements.
- Technical Oversight: Oversee the technical execution of the project, ensuring all engineering, construction, and safety standards are met.
- Health & Safety: Ensure the implementation of health and safety regulations on site and throughout the project.
- Documentation & Reporting: Ensure proper documentation of the construction process and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in managing large-scale construction projects, ideally in the wind energy or energy sector.
- Education: A degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Leadership: Proven experience leading teams and managing contractors in complex projects.
- Technical Expertise: Strong technical background, preferably with experience in wind energy project execution and construction.
- Languages: Fluent in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Travel: Willingness to travel for site visits and spend significant time on-site during construction phases.
